A Case of the Renal Angiomyolipoma with Tuberous Sclerosis

Abstract

|
Renal angiomyolipoma is a sort of benign tumor of the kidney, which is composed of the mixture of blood vessels, fat tissue-and smooth muscle. It commonly occurs in association with tuberou sclerosis, which is characterized by epilepsy, mental retardation, adenoma sebaceum, and other lesions such as retinal phakomas and harmatomas of the kidney, brain, and other viscera.
Herein we present a case of the renal angiomyolipoma with tuberous sclerosis in a 52-year old female.
